About TheLLedo

Lledo is a brand of die cast toy, founded in 1982 by Matchbox co-founder Jack Odell and Burt Russell.  Lledo is the reverse spelling of Odell’s last name.

The factory produced diecast vehicles in Enfield, England from 1983 to 1999.  In 1999, the Lledo naming rights and models range were acquired by Corgi Classics Limited (“Corgi”).  Subsequent to 1999, models were produced in China and ultimately merged into Corgi’s model range in 2005.
